In April 2010, in an effort to more accurately reflect the mission and them of the company and its ancillaries, Michigan Healthy Living Enterprises, Inc., was renamed to Michigan Healthy Living and Sustainability, Inc. (MHLAS).
In July 2010, MHLAS launched a third local publication - Natural Awakenings of East Michigan Healthy Pet. Similar is style to the Greater Oakland/Macomb and Greater Genesee editions of Natural Awakenings, this new publication will focus on keeping our animal friends health and sustainable...naturally. January 2011 brought the launch of the Natural Awakenings Network to East Michigan. This discount card program provides an opportunity for people in this community to readily access businesses and practitioners who offer discounts on their products and services to members who hold the Natural Awakenings Network (NAN) card.
