Creativity, Movement and Play in Winter Class Offerings
![]() |
The Giving Tree Collective’s Enrichment Studio, located in Oxford, has an answer to cabin fever: classes involving creativity, movement and play. The activities are meant to boost mood and foster connection during a time in which it is easy to isolate. Hour-long classes include painting, belly dance fitness, line dancing, Mindfulness & Growth Mindset, Learn to Knit, movement classes for seniors and more, and drop-in craft times on Tuesday evenings are two hours long.
Rachel Hahnefeld, instructor and cofounder of The Giving Tree Collective, says, “The Giving Tree Collective’s Enrichment Studio opened in October of 2022 as a place of experiences through learning, growing, creating—all while having fun. We believe that play and creativity are an important part of wellness. The Enrichment Studio is part of The Giving Tree Collective, which offers a variety of healing technology, hands-on wellness services from Soothe Your Soul and IV therapy from Thrive IV Lounge. The Giving Tree Collective was founded in response to a shared connection over grief that prompted the question, What if there was a space that provided a palette of holistic healing options through a community of healing specialists?”
A full class catalog with dates and descriptions is available online. Costs vary by class and number of classes taken.
The Giving Tree Collective’s Enrichment Studio is located at 925 N. Lapeer Rd., Ste. 113, Oxford. For more information or to register for a class, call Rachel Hahnefeld at 248-572-4135 or visit TheGivingTreeCollective.com/the-enrichment-studio.
