Coping with Health Challenges

Chronic Illness Support Offers an Empowering Start to 2024

Anyone who has a chronic illness (Lyme, PANS/PANDAS/AE, mold toxicity, autoimmune disorders, etc.) and struggles to find ways to cope with the physical, mental and emotional challenges can now receive the support they need. Through the Mental Fitness C.R.E.W. (Center for Resilience Empowerment & Wellness) people can connect in our groups with others who are in similar situations and receive support from professionals with expertise in these challenges. Applications for support groups for 2024 are open online. For those who prefer one-on-one support, they have immediate openings in-person and via telehealth and accept many health insurances.

“Our biweekly groups will empower participants with skills and techniques to control what we can and build resilience to ride the wave of the things that we cannot control, says owner Joelle Kekhoua. "We have several groups running in 2024, in person at the Rochester Hills office and virtual via Zoom.

Groups include Adults with Chronic Illness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills for Children with PANS/PANDAS and Support for Parents of PANS/PANDAS Children. Space is very limited and groups will fill fast. Visit MentalFitnessCREW.org/group to submit an application.

Mental Fitness C.R.E.W. provides an integration of evidence-based treatment modalities, along with collaboration with physicians and community resources, to holistically support our clients with mental, physical and environmental challenges so they can increase internal Resilience, expand external Empowerment and achieve overall Wellness.
