Owner Mary Helen Lee is a licensed acupuncturist and is nationally board certified in Oriental medicine, Chinese herbology and acupuncture. She is also certified as a Western herbalist and Aromatherapist and is the only professional member of the American Herbalist Guild in the state of Michigan. She is celebrating attaining over 30 years of experience in internal holistic medicine for both people and animals and now offers both in-person and phone consultations for herbal prescriptions.

“We stock over 170 individual herbs and over 80 formulas for common health issues, and custom-make individual formulas as needed,” Lee says. “I treat the whole person—physically, mentally, and emotionally—and focus on resolving root causes of health issues, as well as symptom relief. First-time clients receive a thorough medical history and advice on holistic healing for all of their health concerns. I have treated thousands of clients, and have had tremendous success in helping people reduce or eliminate over-the-counter and prescription chemical medications using herbal remedies.” Green Medicine also carries Chinese formulas, essential oils, flower essences, nutritional supplements and homeopathic remedies.
