Oncology researchers from the University of Sheffield, in the UK, report that people with irritable bowel syndrome tend to be low in vitamin D.
In a review of research, they found that supplemental vitamin D tends to ease associated symptoms such as bloating, stomach cramps and constipation, and improve quality of life.
