Chesterfield's Santosha Yoga is holding a free workshop to discuss their Yoga Teachers Mentorship program from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 5. As a group they will discuss everyone’s wants and needs to tailor the upcoming program, which will be held, as of now, once a month on Sunday afternoons. It will begin after the first of the year and run January through April. The program is for teachers who have already taken a 200-hour yoga teacher training elsewhere. Cost will be explained at the workshop along with any questions or concerns you may have.
The workshop and program will be held by Theresa May, an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance, a student of yoga for over 25 years and a yoga teacher since 2006. She has taught over 12 Yoga Teacher Training programs and have taken countless workshops and CE courses.
"Whatever your reason or needs," says May, "such as you have stepped away from teaching yoga and want to start again but need to regain your confidence; or you have taken an online training course and it just didn’t fit your needs; or you sometimes feel isolated and need to be back again with like-minded yoga teachers; feel that your training had some gaps in it; or just feel a little “burnt out” and just need to fill your cup–join our discussion and help develop this program."
Santosha Yoga is located at 48774 Gratiot Ave. Chesterfield. For information or to pre-register visit SantoshaYogaMI.com or call Theresa May at 586-949-5515.
